Question: I waste time online shopping?

Ok, I'm always online on different websites looking at clothes and putting together outfits to wear in the future (like reallly far ahead in the future, like this summer). I'm tired of it! I never buy the clothes online but I guess it just became a hobby of mine sitting on the computer looking at clothes. Can someone encourage me to do something more productive with my time?

Why not write a book? or find something you really like and look into finding more info on it.

Try making one outfit a day (if you make more than one usually) and make it for an upcoming event, not something 3 months away. :) That way you'll actually maybe wear something similar!

I do this a lot too! Then I regret it at the end of the day because it pretty much wasted all my time! But you can't help it right? It's so fun! I think there was someone on the Tyra show who had this problem too. I think the only way you can stop it is to just fight it.. hahahha. Just realize that it's a waste of time and you could be doing something valuable. Read a book, or knit. Anything. Just keep your mind off of it. Try not even going online for a while. :)

I do the same thing! So here is the solution I found (since it seems like you are in to clothes/ fashion like me)... instead of looking online for clothes that are way out of season/ expensive/ etc, when you feel the urge to shop online, shop in your closet instead! Go to your closet, find pieces you already have (and love) and figure out different ways you can wear them. Pick a shirt or dress and challenge yourself to wear it in three different ways.. (For a dress: 1. Put a shirt over top of it and make it appear to be a skirt instead 2.wear a blazer over top and colored tights 3. just pile on the jewelry.. big bright bold necklaces always make a statement!) This way you will save money and get inspired with your own wardrobe! If you still feel the need to visit those sites anyways, just use them for ideas of how to wear the things you already own. You will find some girls go to some real shops and hang out all day is more stupid than you spend time on computer. It is your hobby,maybe you can call your friends.
